Colour is over rated smile
Mary MacADNski: I can't agree with you there. As a painter and stained glass artist, my life is colour.

A wonderful, soaring, perspective here, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: The building deserves these shots to show beauty even in decay.
Great composition, I like the perspective and textures. A bientôt VAL
Mary MacADNski: Merci, Val. I love old buildings and feature them here quite often.

Was it safe to stand that close Mary
Mary MacADNski: I worry most about rusty nails on the ground so calculate each and every step.

Would this still be the same building that you showed last year and the year before? So many picture opportunities.

Great point of view - risky as well smile
Mary MacADNski: I have shown this building in the past and others as well. I love them!!
Great curves and textures Mary
Mary MacADNski: I love these old buildings and the odd angles and great textures are certainly one part of the draw.

Oh it's certainly interesting alright Mary. I wonder how many years it's got left before it just collapses?
Mary MacADNski: I get back a couple of times every year and more has collapsed each time. i will be in the area again on May 5th so will pay another visit.

Nice angle Mary, love the missing windows.
Have a lovely weekend
Mary MacADNski: Ha, here it is Tuesday, my working weekend long past and finally a day off. I love old buildings and appreciate you stopping in to see this one.
the crop is good for this one
Mary MacADNski: I don't crop my photos. This is what I framed.
A great POV here Mary. I like the lines!
Mary MacADNski: The building deserves photos from every angle.
The lack of colour is what makes it such a good image Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It's true. I have lots of shots of this building with grey skies and again with blue skies. The grey sky ones are more appealing. I must get back there. May 5th, I will be in the area again.
Great lines and texture, love the windows smile
Mary MacADNski: I love old derelict buildings like this. Thanks, Linda.
Is this house really being left to get into a state of total derelcition? You'd better get your hard hat on and go get some more shots. smile
Mary MacADNski: I have tons and tons of shots of old buildings and this one in particular. Even as a kid, I liked exploring old places like this. The difference is I would enter them and climb old staircases with not a fear in the world. Then I grew up and common sense took hold.
Yes - a very interesting composition Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I liked the look of those roof boards and this was the best way to capture them.
Not much left if it now..but has made a good piture Mary
Mary MacADNski: I love these old buildings and yes, they do make good subjects.

I like the dereliction here. Shame it been allowed to go that way, though.
Mary MacADNski: There are lots of these old buildings around. I am not sure why the owners don't tear them down.

Interesting, especially with the missing windows, and the roof by the look of it. Did you get inside?
Mary MacADNski: I was a bit afraid of stepping on rusty nails even where I was standing so got no closer. When I was a kid, I didn't care and always explored old houses like this.
