well most people always need a hand, especially in the garden, nice unusual shot
Mary MacADNski: That's exactly it, derek. You got the meaning. There are two hands. I have a shot of each but wish I had shot both together. They look lovely in my friend's garden. She has many wonderful works of art her daughter did in art school.

Fashion some blades into those fingers and you can have a snazzy pair of garden pliers. Just paint it green for good effect.

Mary MacADNski: It is just the way it is formed - to look like it is working in the garden - weeding or something similar. There are two hands. I have a shot of each but wish I had shot both together. They look lovely in my friend's garden. She has many wonderful works of art her daughter did in art school.
We all need a gardening hand Mary! Fine capture.
Mary MacADNski: That was my point and only you got it. Most people thought it was freaky.

I think that would freak me out if I came upon it in the garden, Mary. After getting a grip, I'd then LOL. grin
Mary MacADNski: They look lovely as a pair. I wish I had taken a shot of both together instead of two single hands.
Its a good sculpture, if you couldnt see the bottom part, it would give you a fright if you saw it, lol smile

I thought it was a gardening glove
Mary MacADNski: There are two hands in the set. The other is more easily recognized - five fingers.
A very original garden sculpture, Mary. I can see the outstretched fingers providing a dandy perch for the birdies.

A little spooky...
Mary MacADNski: I should have shown this in a different manner. It is quite nice actually.
