photoblog image Thrilling Light

Thrilling Light

This shot is similar to one from last week but I am sharing it because the light in the conifers in the middle really thrilled me.

I love it also, when the light is on the trees this way
Mary MacADNski: So important to see, when painting.

Are you on the third story of your mansion? Quite a view, interspersed with young green.
Mary MacADNski: On the road very near my mansion, Louis.
Some really beautiful shades of green, although the white light at the bottom edge is distracting.
Mary MacADNski: I didn't see that until you mentioned it but it is now glaring. I will definitely crop it out, and the sky as Patushka mentioned. Thanks.
a sea of green! the light is definitely great
Mary MacADNski: Oh, to see all these greens is a deluight.

Yes...I can sense why you got so excited about this scene, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I do get excited easily.
Beautiful light indeed! It emphasizes the shapes of the trees. I think cropping out the sky at the top so only the trees show would make the picture very dramatic.
Mary MacADNski: That would definitely be a good crop. Thanks for suggesting it.

Lovely Mary: the light can be a delight in spring
Mary MacADNski: It makes everything come alive.
I would have been excited too. Assuming this is "as is" from the camera, I might say who needs Photoshop.
Mary MacADNski: No photo shop here. Straight out of Camera and untouched.
I miss color here, looks pale to me
Mary MacADNski: You say that often when looking at my photos, Chantal. It is obvious you like a more enhanced, photoshop type of photo. Mine are not, as they are straight out of camera. What I see you get, Chantal.
And once again all those greens are very attractive Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I couldn't help but show this one, even after the similar shot last week.

Very nice shot
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Scarlet
Your greens are more vibrant and alive with the sunshine Mary, very pretty colourssmile
Mary MacADNski: Early evening and very intense but beautiful.
Lovely selection of greens, Mary - I can see why you were attracted.
Mary MacADNski: I was stunned at the beauty and I did not capture it well. It looks better in my memory.
