Silos in Evening

I like the silos in the country landscapes.  This farm has a lot of them.  I don't know what they farm.

What a great set of silos and farm sheds. Love the sun on the red walls.
Mary MacADNski: I like silos. They are always an interesting addition to a farm yard.
Whatever they're farming, Mary, it must be profitable. Everything looks to be in tip top shape. I really like the way you've composed this.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Beverly. I found out that they are hog farmers. They grow crops to feed the hogs.

Lovely gathering of the silo's picture. Even the sky worked with you.
Mary MacADNski: I like silos a lot. I can always find something to make a picture.
Red and black - not nature's colours and they don't blend into the landscape. Eveerything here says "look at me" I'm busy, organized and successful.
Mary MacADNski: No blending in here. Easy to find though. LOL

Actually I rather like that silver & vivid red Mary
Mary MacADNski: That is what made me grab the camera, Chris.
the red stands out
Mary MacADNski: The evening light ensures us of that, Chantal. It is a lovely time to be out with a camera.
Wonderful capture with these colours contrast Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Oh that evening light, Richard. It adds to any scene.

Oh wow, Mary. That red pops on the screen! The magic hour and you got it just right. My first guess would be corn...but I don't know your neck of the woods?
Mary MacADNski: I checked it out and this farmer raises hogs. He grows grain and possibly corn to feed them.
A fine demonstration of what a poeerful colour red is
Mary MacADNski: I like red barns. Traditionally they were wooden but now steel. The early evening light that this was taken in certainly made the red pop.
The evening sun has made these really stand out and you have captured them perfectly smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Linda. I love this light.
We don't see red farm buildings like this in Wales Mary..Which is a shame..they are lovely. A fine image.

I like the shapes of the silos but even better is the lovely red colour of the buildings.
Mary MacADNski: The early evening light certainly made the red pop and took away from the silos.
This shot is quite stunning in the evening light.
Mary MacADNski: That light makes it what it is. Thanks.
splendid geometry and color...
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Larry. Early evening light is wonderful.

The red of the sheds really stands out; very colourful.
Mary MacADNski: The early evening light is a great help with that red standing out.
It is a beautiful red color. Is it the Ferrari factory? Lol .. Do not mind me, cars have upset me, I hope to return soon to nature. A greeting.
Mary MacADNski: All is nature in my world, Valentin. I hope you can find it soon too.
Love the contrast of the red against the rest.
Mary MacADNski: The red really stood out in this evening light. Thanks, Tom.
Great light on this. I like agricultural subjects, good shot.
Mary MacADNski: I would say most of my shots are rural. I love living in the country and shoot what I know.
