Apple blossoms are about my favourite...this is a beautiful image, with its complementary but unimposing backdrop.
Mary MacADNski: I have a shot coming up in a few days of the blossoms half opened and in a few minutes am going out to get a shot of the tree in full bloom. It is stunning.
A refreshing shot on a hot May day (as it is in England today). Nicely composed against that lovely soft background.
Mary MacADNski: This is a week or so ago. They are completely open now and the tree is stunning.
Looking very pretty against the background Mary
Mary MacADNski: They are all open now and very pretty too. Thanks.

I recognized this as 'apple' love the soft background, it really highlights the blossoms.
Wonderful picture.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Astrid. It is apple. You should see the tree now! It is absolutely full of blossoms and they are all open.
This is very pretty Mary, and the pink shows up beautifully against that soft fuzzy background.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Sheila. The tree is full of open blossoms now. Though it is still windy, I will try to get a shot.
The limited pallete of colours and composition really works nicely here Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Brian. Sometimes simple is good.
Lovely contrast and bokeh, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tom. I've been fighting a windy week.

Amazing backdrop....great DOF...love the colors.Rule of thirds...everything in order.
Mary MacADNski: The wind has been blowing for a week - almost impossible to get a shot.
Wow, fantastic, I love the composition. A+ VAL smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much, Val.
Beautiful! Great depth of field. I love taking pictures of the crabapple blossoms on our tree, too!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, SL. They are so beautiful in the land. The hedgerows show their magnificence at this time of year.
Wow, giorgious!
Mary MacADNski: It certainly says spring.
