I do like the rocks, and see you have managed to squeeze i just a little bit of shiny barbed wire, to show, no doubt, how you keep the bulls away from the tulips.
Mary MacADNski: This year there is a crop of soybeans in this field and the bull is behind that. Two rows of fence separate us now.
What a collection of shapes and colours you've managed in this one shot. Nice to see the fresh clean colour of the daffodil against the vibrant rich colours of the tulips.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much. I have fun in the garden, Sheila.
Great composition, great light and beautiful tulips.
I almost see three triangles, one with the point down at the left.
Is this part of a wall around some one's yard??
Mary MacADNski: I do have another triangle but it is not in this shot. This is a wall I made in my yard.
Lovely, lovely!! Very sunny shot. To et it really perfect I would have cloned out the wires.
Mary MacADNski: I don't clone anything from my shots. WYSIWYG is my way - natural light and a shot of a moment in time. The fence was there and IS there thankfully.
This is quite a fascinating picture Mary and what lovely colours those tulips are. A quick clone of the wires would help that lovely sky even more Mary.
Mary MacADNski: You must know that i don't post process, Brian. What you see is what you get from me - a moment in time. The wire was there.
Lovely contrast of colours, Mary - our dafs and tulips have all gone; now it is rhododendron, azaleas and lilac
Mary MacADNski: The daffs are long gone. The tulips are going soon. Rhododendrons are perfect at the moment and lilacs are opening within days. I'd guess some are open in some places. We noticed this last year too. Your spring is earlier but we catch up to you in May/June.
