Just sitting down or ready to pounce? Do your cats do much hunting Mary. My Sheba used to be a great shrew catcher, and she brought a rat into the bathroom once.
Mary MacADNski: I have trained my cats since birth to get along with birds and bees, etc. They sit beside the bird feeders in winter and the birds sit right beside them. I have tried to tell them that they are allowed to kill mice but they don't. They do corner them though and I pick them up and flush them. My last cat was a mighty hunter.

Lovely picture, but Kenzo does not look a happy cat this time.
Mary MacADNski: She is happy but happier when I pick her up. That's what she wants here.

I feel sure you spoil them Mary..I'm no better either .
Mary MacADNski: I certainly do spoil them, Ron, and they pay me back purrfectly.
She certainly knows how to pick the most lovely spots in which to be photographed. Is that your stone wall Kenz is standing on, Mary?
Mary MacADNski: Yes, she is often on the stone wall smelling the flowers.
