photoblog image Evening Light

Evening Light

I loved the way the light hit these dandelion seed heads at the edge of my unplanted vegetable garden.

We love walking in the evening light on An Island Walk.

The light can make lots of things look appealing Mary but I hope you don't get dandelions everywhere in your veg patch!
Mary MacADNski: They are easy to pull out in well worked soil.
Lovely bit of light Mary, used to good effect
Mary MacADNski: It would have been nice to have the seed heads in focus instead of the garden row.
They do look pretty in the light Mary smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Linda. It is such a nice light right before dusk.
LOL! I have a similar kinda picture in queue for tomorrow. Dandelions are so beautiful in the sunlight, aren't they?
Mary MacADNski: I love them in all stages. I wish this one had the seed heads in focus rather than the garden. Got the point across though.

Good photo so dandelion the world weed
Mary MacADNski: They're beautiful, I think. Not everyone agrees.
The advancing army of dandelion clocks in the spotlight. Nice capture Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, ma'am.

Is this is what is known as gardening, Mary? I've heard of it but have yet to try it! You've caught the photo opportunity well.
Mary MacADNski: I love my organic produce. that is what makes me stay with it - not the hard work. I have to say that's not something I enjoy.
Oh, Mary, they are beautifully lit in this image, but what are you going to do when the wind spreads the seeds far & wide?
Mary MacADNski: I never worry about them. I think dandelions are beautiful in the lawns and in a well worked up garden they're easy to pull.
Well spotted, Mary - and nicely composed.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tom. I wish the seed heads had been sharper but oh, well.
I think you should have cut them down before they seed Mary..Although they do make for a good picture.
Mary MacADNski: My son mowed this weekend so they're gone now. I don't worry about them much.
Our gardening tools are very similar - I have a spade with a broken handle just like yours!
Mary MacADNski: I have quite a few broken tools but they have their uses now that it's harder to get up. LOL. My then young boys broke quite a few in their fervor.
They look nice but my word don't they cause a lot of trouble with all their seeds sprouting some time later.
Mary MacADNski: I truly don't mind them. They are beautiful in the landscape in each stage of their season. I love them. This photo focused in the wrong place but shows what was meant.
When I see these flowers, I always want to blow out on it.
Beautiful light, A+ VAL
Mary MacADNski: There were tons of them so you would need a lot of breath.
Nice shot, just waiting to invade!
Mary MacADNski: Let them!
