Bachelor Buttons

Due to a colleague's injury I am again working extra shifts.  My first day off is the 17th so I will be visiting your blogs but probably not posting much after today.  I am taking a holiday later in the month so don't mind filling in some emergency hours now.  It seems my colleagues are having their unexpected health issues.  I sympathize fully having been in a similar position a year and a half ago.

Dont work yourself into ill health Mary
Mary MacADNski: I will be fine. The holidays will probably be harder on me. LOL
Blue and white scabiou (I think smile ) . Lovely colours, a nice soft restful image.
Mary MacADNski: We call them bachelor's buttons. I planted these 25 years ago and they self seed.
Lovely shot, Mary - it would make a great wallpaper design!
Mary MacADNski: I think you're right. Thanks, Tom.
Lovely tones Mary. Look after yourselves!
Mary MacADNski: I will be ok. I am glad to help out.

Sorry to hear of your extra workload, Mary. It will make your holiday seem even more worthwhile, though. This is a lovely image; it would like great blown up and hung on the wall as it has a very calming effect.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Alan. I don't mind extra work. As long as I get enough sleep I will be fine. I like my job.
Wonderful cornflower blue Mary

Mary MacADNski: There are hardly any dark purples this year. I planted these 25 years ago and they have been self-seeding ever since.
Everyone likes this and so do I Mary, well worth framing and putting on the wall, it is very calming.
Mary MacADNski: I'm surprised that this is popular. I have another heading my other blog. It has more flowers.
Good luck on all those extra shifts Mary, you must be exhausted by the end of the month and really welcoming a nice holiday
Mary MacADNski: I never mind work in a job I like so as long as I can maintain enough sleep, I'm good to go.
This is a beautiful display of flowers and the insect love the colours and its so sharp its amazing.
Mary MacADNski: You noticed the insect did you? I was surprised others didn't mention it.

Beautiful shot, what with DOF. Why would a bachelor wear buttons like these smile
Mary MacADNski: Women like to smell flowers......
A gorgeous shot Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Nigel.
Just delightful, Mary. Flowers that self-seed are worth their weight in gold as far as I'm concerned.
Yes I thought of cornflowers also, lovely blues and a serene shot.
