Mary MacADNski: These roses are sprayed in chemicals. It makes perfect roses but there are no bugs. Makes me afraid , vety afraid.

Neat garden - no aphids as Ray remarked.
Mary MacADNski: These roses have been showered in chemicals. It is beautiful though to me, filled in poison. I'm afraid to stick my nose on them.

In Queensland l used to have a never ending fight against fungal diseases and Aphids, this rose looks in superb condition
Mary MacADNski: I get rust and since I allow no chemicals on the property , the rust stays. This lady sprays and sprays.
Beautiful bud. Same rose bush as yesterday?
Mary MacADNski: No, this one is a hotter pink. They are in the same garden though.

Such delicate tones; a beautiful colour, too.

Now I'm surprised to see brick in the background. Not something you often see in North America.
Mary MacADNski: I grew up in a brick making town. The east coast has lots of bricks.
Beautiful color and texture. I hope the chemicals aren't harming the bees.
Mary MacADNski: I would think that if they were nearby when these roses were sprayed they would be harmed. I allow no chemicals on my property but my roses just like this have a rust disease. Safer to stick your nose into both for me and the bees.
Beautiful again, these pale roses look so more delicate than deeper coloured ones. smile

Mary MacADNski: I have exactly the same roses though they have never been sprayed so I will smell mine. My roses have a rust disease as a result but I'm happier not to have chemicals on my land.

Lovely shot. That's awful about the poison but I guess there is a place for everything.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, lots of people use sprays and the results are like this. They work but scare me.
We've been very fortunate this year with regard to aphids & rust. Last year was a different story, however.

You've captured this rose at my favourite stage, Mary. Chemically sprayed or not, it still is a beautiful thing to see.
Mary MacADNski: I got a lot of shots of this ladies garden and all stages of blossoms. Roses are really wonderful!
