A bottle village! Looks like a un and colorful place to go--I wouldn't mind more pictures of it. I hope Kenz and Bella are doing well--I miss their antics...smile
Mary MacADNski: Kenz hid the whole time the children were here and Bella tolerated them but seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. I will see if I can alter faces to show you some other photos.

Oh, what a fun POV, Mary. Did anyone "play" then for music?? smile I love the colors.
Mary MacADNski: I did not encourage the grandchildren with that. It would be a shame to break one.

Love the composition, what a find to make them into a wall.
One of the places you want to have 4 eyes to see it all?
Mary MacADNski: It would take a while with bottles and cement.

What an original image Mary! I've never heard of a bottle village I confess
Mary MacADNski: This one is a small one in my area. There is a larger, well-known one in western PEI.
who drink all those bottles?
Mary MacADNski: I donated a few cases of blue bottles to the fellow last year.

Hah, I thought you took this picture after waking up on the operating table after a severe binge. Waking up to multi-coloured spots with caps on some of them smile
Mary MacADNski: I hope to never visit an operating table again thank you.
A variation on ten green bottles hanging on the wallgrin
Mary MacADNski: Start singing....
Wonderful and original image with a great POV Mary. The light is superb!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard.
How delightful Mary, A real picture to hang on your wall.
Mary MacADNski: I could hang it on the wall of the bottle house.

Love all the reflected colour from the light in the bottles
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Zed.
Ahhh!! What a great picture!! THose colours are really stunning!
Now I want to visit a village like that, had never heard of one.
Mary MacADNski: A time filler for a local man. He doesn't charge admission, as most places like this do.

Very very cool and creative shot Mary! It reminds me of one of my photography classes where we had look at objects differently.
Mary MacADNski: That is a very good exercise and aids in cre8ive thinking.
I've never heard of a bottle village Mary. One learns something new on SC everyday and it is a very good image.
Mary MacADNski: I love learning new things.
This must have provided some inspiration for your stained glass creations, Mary. The colours are brilliant.
Mary MacADNski: Not really, Beverly, though I understand your thought. The colours are fantastic.
Amazing what some people will do - I suppose this is the inside wall; I can only imagine what it would sound like if all those tops were outside when the wind blew!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, this is from inside. Wouldn't that sound you describe be awesome?

What beautiful colours, Mary. Are these embedded in a wall?
Mary MacADNski: Yes, they're embedded in cement. He has all shapes, even a round lighthouse.
Gorgeous bright colours, very unusual. I will google it to see just what it is.
Mary MacADNski: Merely buildings made with bottles embedded in cement.

It is a superb photo Mary....but just think of how much the builder had to buy and consume during the building of this wall
......smile petersmile
Mary MacADNski: I donated some bottles myself. LOL
Nice colors! Looks so vivid.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Paul. I wish I'd spent more time there.
Quite abstract, I like it's vibrancy
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Nigel.
That's a cracking shot...here something for you. The B&G on one of these bottles stands for, you probably know, Barton & Guestier, a wine merchants in Bordeaux, France. Founded by Thomas Barton from Ireland in 1725.
Mary MacADNski: I heard that everything started in Ireland or Scotland.
The colors, shapes, and light here are so marvelous!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Lee Ann.
very well done. nice colours and lovely effect
Mary MacADNski: Thank you. It recalls a great memory.
