Stuck on the Beach

I was the the beach only once this year though I live only a moment away. I landed on a nearby one the other day and found I couldn't get off. I left my car unlocked and walked an hour before I remembered.  Luckily my belonings remained intact while I foolishly wandered off. Finally, I'd reached the beach!

You were lucky indeed Mary, I hope this wasn't the place where you got stuck although it is lovely.
Mary MacADNski: I reread my post and it sounds like I was stuck in a bad way like by the tide or something. I just wandered and forgot that I had left the car unlocked. You will see other photos coming up. It was lovely.
I love the red rock color
Mary MacADNski: You would love it here then.
What a lovely capture Mary.
You are lucky to live in a safe place!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. It is a safe place here generally but I always lock my doors.
Fate, luck, the gods, or whatever was on you side that day Mary. They took you to the beach and looked after your car for you. I hope you had a wonderful hour just wandering and relaxing.
And looking for fascinating things like this rock formation.
Mary MacADNski: It was a great day, Sheila, when you think of it that way. Life is good isn't it?
Nice one, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tom.
This is a quite amazing outcrop Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It is a wonderful sight.
It looks like your our of wandering was a good thing, amazing formation on your beach smile
Mary MacADNski: I loved my little wander. I work way too much and beachcomb way to little.

It's amazing how little soil grass needs to get a foothold. I like the sculpturing in the rock.

I've gone to bed before now and have left the back door wide open, wallet and car keys in few view; still there next morning, luckliy!
Mary MacADNski: Weeds too will grow in bits of sand. We have to count our forgetful and distractable selves lucky, eh?

How did I miss this beauty yesterday!!!
Mary MacADNski: Sleeping?
Lucky you... to keep your belongings, and to find a beach like this.
Mary MacADNski: It is a well walked beach by a tourist attraction and restaurant and in my neighbourhood. It's lovely.
This looks like sandstone, I very much like the layers.
Mary MacADNski: It is most definitely sandstone. We are basically a sandbar in the ocean.
Great example of erosion
Mary MacADNski: The island is eroding quickly. We are already called a sandbar in the ocean. It may become true before long.
Strange effect : I like !
Mary MacADNski: Thanks a lot. I like these stacks too.
