I walked to the old wharf on my little beach trek.  The old structure is part of a cormorant colony and also has colonized a great deal of interesting rust.  I know there are a few rust fans among you.

Just a great subject Mary the rust in itself is a sculpture and the weathered wood to the left is just as dramatic.....i like it.... a lot.....peter
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Peter. There are a lot of rust lovers here. They would have a field day at this wharf.
Just look at the colours, shapes and textures in that piece of rusy old wharf. You've even captured some of that weathered old timber.
Mary MacADNski: It is a wonder for rust lovers.
