Professional whitewashers!

[grin]
Mary MacADNski: Exactly! I don't know why they sit where they poop. Even pigs won't do that.
I've seen sandhill crane clans, but not cormorant colonies, so this is a real treat!
Mary MacADNski: I've seen sandhills too and they're very impressive. We don't have them here.

Very fine Mary: I wonder if there is a pecking order here - and if so who is boss?
Mary MacADNski: I don't know much about that but it makes you wonder.
that is one mad crowd, haha
Mary MacADNski: Noisy too.

There must be a lot of fish in the area to feed that lot
Do they also nest and breed on those rocks? Forgive the question, but what I know about cormorants is -0.
That's quite a bunch!
I can't believe I was fooled into thinking the rocks were white in the first shot, Mary.

Great timing here with the capture of one of the cormorants taking off.
This is excellent Mary...A very popular spot by the looks.
Not much room left for the landing one, good capture Mary smile
Looks like a safe haven judging by the population.
Even more enjoyable than yesterdays shot Mary.
