A lovely late suummer scene, Mary. The golden bales really constrast against the greenery.

On my farm land i have bails of hay also but not as much as this picture... wow beautiful!! Mary
Mary MacADNski: This is straw left over from the grain harvest. Hay is done here in June. Do you have grain too?
As Marion says...bales of hay all over Ireland too...Summer's gone, and Autumn's here...I like Autumn, prefer summer though smile

Ah - not the same as when we had stooks and hay ricks!
Mary MacADNski: Wouldn't that be nice to take shots of. i did get some shots of square bales, which are quite uncommon these days.
