I like 'em, Mary, and occasionally bemoan the fact that there are none in Bangkok.
Mary MacADNski: Really? I thought they were everywhere!

Mary MacADNski: He has his eyes closed and says he will come back tomorrow. I fear the man be be in a permanent blink before the weeks out.

Different strokes for different folks, Mary. When you see them like this, how can you not love them. smile
Mary MacADNski: These are in a park and are guaranteed to come by to see if you have food.
I don`t mind gulls at all, Mary, and this is a lovely capture. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: I like them a lot. Living on an island they are part of the landscape, visually and aurally.

I'm afraid I am with Bill on this Mary, my grandmother aklways said they were the souls of dead sailors lost at sea come back to torment us. I still take photographs of them though, there are so many differences. This one has a fine colour to him.
Mary MacADNski: I was just saying to another, who finds them a mess: I have the advantage that they don't hang around my place but I get to see them everywhere else and I think they are visually, very beautiful birds.

As you say there are so many types and then there are immature of each type...
What a lovely capture with a beautiful light Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Morning light and I'm glad it wasn't too blown out.
It almost looks as if he has a smirk on this face, Mary. Good capture.
Mary MacADNski: He's hoping so badly that I will throw him food.

Not fond of them myself, they make to much of a mess where I live, nice capture though.

Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much, Ferdi.

LOL @ Bill...well I have them wide open and I love the seagull, great composition.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Astrid. Living on an island, they are part of the wallpaper.
Nice. I enjoy photographing birds. Random question, do you live in a farm?
Mary MacADNski: No, I don't live on a farm but in a rural area surrounded by farms.
Striking in it's simplicity.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much, Graeme.
