Does this cat really walk with you? It must be thinking it is a dog. The independent cats I know only associate with human beings when the food bowl is filled and when needing a lap for a nap.
Mary MacADNski: An Island Walk is a different blog that I advertise on SC. The cats follow me on the property but not on the roads.

Mary MacADNski: I must say it takes them forever. They have to smell each one and rub it with their faces, then maybe swat it across the floor to one another to make sure it is still viable.

She looks totally focussed on something or other. Is it food?
Mary MacADNski: That is just how Kenz is. She stares for minutes at a time, moves a bit and becomes catatonic again. She's always been like that.
