Great composition Mary....beautiful contrast in colours.....this would no doubt be a truly "Canadian Lighthouse"....petersmilegrin
Mary MacADNski: It's the PEI part of the National Park system thus the maple leaf.

Can you get up onto that walkway on the tower Mary?
Mary MacADNski: I'm not sure, Chris. I didn't explore there - just drove by.
This place looks occupied. Is it? Is it still a working lighthouse, or now converted to a home? What a place to live!
Mary MacADNski: This is unoccupied but in the National Park land here on the Island. It is well maintained for that reason.
Wonderful capture Mary. This is definitely a Canadian lighthouse!
Mary MacADNski: Definitely a Prince Edward Island one and in the National Park.

Very pleasant summer cottage with that 360deg balcony.
Mary MacADNski: This is in the National Park. It would have lots of photos taken of it in any given year.

A great photograph Mary. Great subject and color.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Shaun. Lots of colourful lighthouses around here.
Now that is a very attractive lighthouse Mary.
Mary MacADNski: This one is well cared for and gazed apon as it is in the National Park.
Are you sure there isn't one hiding behind the lighthouse?
Mary MacADNski: One very well may be. LOL
An unusual lighthouse Mary, or are they common over there?
Mary MacADNski: Lighthouses are very common here.
You must have quite a collection of P.E.I. lighthouse images, Mary. Have you ever put together a montage of them? This one is a real humdinger.
Mary MacADNski: I have a few but no, have not made a montage.

Ah, but the gulls have left their mark, I see! Looks like the maple leaf emblem is not quite straight?
Mary MacADNski: I hadn't noticed that.
Great picture of an unusual looking lighthouse. A slight heathaze showing around it's base?
Mary MacADNski: It is in a sand dune in National Park land.
A very well maintained lighthouse. I like the way the maple leaf is included.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, being in the National Park keeps the lighthouse looking it's best.
