Thank you for immortalising me in this excellent image, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: That is quite a yellow stream.

LOL @ Ray..... smile
This is i wonderful scene, I would not mind joining them for a day......
Have a nice weekend, not snowed in yet??
Mary MacADNski: Lots of boats and fishing here, Astrid, and I could have you doing it in minutes. We had snow a week ago today, last Saturday. It all melted and it's about 3 degrees. I went to a Dutch food thing today looking for my son's new found addiction and mine, if I could get them - stroopwafels. Oh my goodness - HeaVen On EaRth!!!!!!

Well let's hope at least one of them had a catch
Mary MacADNski: The women did while we were sitting there but she was still there when we left. Not enough for supper I guess.
Fishing or angling is lost on me. They seem totally absorbed though
Mary MacADNski: My kids love fishing and had a big pond to practice in.

The guy is holding onto what I would know as a deep sea rig. But the sea is obviously not deep here.

Nice family photo.
Mary MacADNski: He's getting ready for the next day which was the opening of tuna season. The woman was not on the boat but on the wharf next to the boat.
Great shot Mary. One chap appears to be standing on the edge of the boat - that scares me.
Mary MacADNski: The woman is not on the boat but standing on the wharf.
They fully live their passion Mary! Fine capture.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, work and play as the title says and that passion was the right call!

Is fishing work?
Mary MacADNski: The men are working readying their gear for the opening of the tuna season. The woman is having some recreational fishing time. She may be fishing for her dinner.
... there it will take you

Mary MacADNski: It is readily available in most of canada, a very big activity hear.

It looks like one is fishing from the orange box and another has caught a wooden pole with a grey box attached!
Mary MacADNski: No wharf and boat are the two structures.
Is tuna fishing profitable in that area, Mary?

Love how you composed this one.
Mary MacADNski: It was this year. The season lasted only a part of the day. They had their quota. That does not always happen.
Now this would be my sons idea of a good day out.
Mary MacADNski: Both of my sons and daughter all love fishing too.
Doesn't seem like a bad idea, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Good day out. I was out for a drive - work related.
Tight lines all round here, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Absolutely, and snug and safe.
