What a sweety, he looks a bit sad, no food?
Mary MacADNski: Those are sunflower seeds in front of him.
What a lovely bird, great image worthy of publication
Mary MacADNski: I am not happy with this actually. I don't normally use any post processing but pressed I'm feeling lucky on Picasa. It certainly boosted the contrast between the bird and background which was good, but the bird has a strange texture to his feathers which I don't like at all. Thanks so much, though. You are very kind.
What a lovely bird Mary. You captured it so well!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much, Richard.
This is gorgeous Mary..We shall have our small birds looking for food now that the snow is here.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ron. I love the birds and watching them through the windows is something nice for the cats while I'm at work.
Lovely shot of a delightful bird, Mary - you ought to post this on the Flickr, "Field guide: birds of the world" group.
Mary MacADNski: I don't think this version is good. I think I have better. I used the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. I don't like the fake look to the feathers.
Is he summing up his chances for lunch at one of your feeding stations? Beautiful shot.
Mary MacADNski: He has his choice, black oil sunflower seeds, the only seed I use.
A superb capture Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much but it is processed and looks very much so to me.
Lovely little bird Mary and a very good photograph indeed.
Mary MacADNski: You are very kind.

Great shot Mary i guess that feeder is working for you....this lovely finch is posing for the shotgrin.....petersmile

sorry that i posted multiple shots again last night and you have a problem getting to the comment box on SCsad
Mary MacADNski: Don't worry about the multiple shots. I look every day and can tell you in advance that I'll probably like them, if that is any help. As I say it is not just your shots. Many do this. It is a problem with MY view.

Lovely shot, and at 100mm you must have gotten pretty close.
Mary MacADNski: No, I was in my kitchen, inside, and the birds were on the deck.

beautiful photo, I like,
Mary MacADNski: Merci, Francis.
Beautiful study.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Graeme. I could accept it as that. Thanks, you've helped. I don't like how this turned out since I post processed it which is very unusual for me.

Lovely close-up shot - you've captured his personality.
Mary MacADNski: It is processed which I don't normally do. Pressed the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. His tail was cut off anyway.
Like a Cardellino
Mary MacADNski: These turn bright yellow in spring and summer.
