Roadside Attraction

I pass this roadside Santa before full light in the morning.  I had the opportunity to go in later one day and got a chance to click this from atop my steering wheel.  One chance shot. This figure changes throughout the year depending on the season. I wish they would turn it around though, I always face the back and don't even notice on the other side of the road. It's dark then too anyway.

Does he have a battery powered arm, that moves up and down as though waving?

Does he change gender sometimes?

So many Questions... [grin]
Mary MacADNski: No batteries or bionic arm. He does change genders sometimes or wears women's clothes anyway. There was a hula outfit last year in the summer.
He needs a bit of padding as he is rather a thin Santa grin
Mary MacADNski: I think he would require more maintenance if he was stuffed but yes he's look better.

It looks like he lost a leg
Mary MacADNski: His leg is folded.

I think Bill is right: he could do with a good meal
Mary MacADNski: Perhaps the owners are trying to promote a healthy lifestyle with their skinny roadside people.
Doubt he would last long in GB, some wag would kidnap him.
Mary MacADNski: That's sad though I just heard od someone stealing a christmas tree and lights.
Is he hitching a lift, and his reindeer and elves are hiding round the corner smile
Mary MacADNski: He's greeting all the good girls and boys.

It's a symbol a friendly people.
Mary MacADNski: I think you got it!!
I like these sort of things done to entertain people and bring a touch of light to life.
Mary MacADNski: That's it exactly. They only want to bring a smile.

Now I would have thought that he was in Santa Land packing on the presents ready for delivery but it seems he has time still to loiter on the streets of PEI. Martin's comment about the UK is right, sadly.
Mary MacADNski: This could be his skinny son-in-training.
I think the owners have a wonderful sense of humour, Mary, if they keep changing it to fit the season. Would love to see a picture of it as a female.
Mary MacADNski: I'kk get photos through the seasons, Beverly.
I would wave back smile
Mary MacADNski: I never see it in the light. I pass twice a day in the dark.
hehe, very festive. smile
Mary MacADNski: Great, isn't it?
Looking for a lift back to elf-land?
Mary MacADNski: Just waving to the people.
In my world of death, this apple is an expression of life, of love.
Mary MacADNski: Santa wishes for happiness and good cheer.
He needs to eat more cookies and drink more milk. Great Capture.!
Mary MacADNski: He looks good when he's wearing his hula outfit in the summer though.
