There used to be a bounty of half a crown for every tail sent in to the Ministry of Agriculture. But then animal rights and cuddly toy attitudes came on the scene.

A very fine tail all the same.
I like the contrast between the fluffy tail and the rough wood!
Squirrels are about the only thing I see at the feeders after our very cold spell - it has hit the small birds very hard, I think.
Haha, Mary, when I look at this image, I immediately think of Davy Crockett's hat.
They are very entertaining vermin grin
I know you don't like the squirrels, but you must admit they do have their pretty sides sometimes.
