Yes, what a striking difference. Sometimes, a dusting of snow gives some good textures, as here.
Mary MacADNski: I see and appreciate the changes all the year through. With your love and harnessing of the landscape, I think you observe it too.
Great photograph Mary, the pattern looks incredible in the snow.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, the stubble and snow have just the right amount of contrast.

What a wonderful contast Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Certainly different in warmth too.
You do observe things while walking on your island! smile
Mary MacADNski: An Island Walk is another blog. I actually don't have time to take walks anymore.
It looks as if you have negativized and twiddled it. Amazing when you compare the two views.
Mary MacADNski: No twiddeling whatsoever, Sheila. Straight out of camera.

great line play here
Mary MacADNski: I think the farmer had a ball - maybe some kid learning to drive the tractor
Mary , Great image takes a bit of thinking to work it out. Nice to see the comparison
Mary MacADNski: It's an interesting landscape with the field rising then falling down to the sea.

OMG, Mary. In this image you get a better scale of how much territory it covers. Talk about eye-catching!
Mary MacADNski: I have a full view too that I may show sometime.
A fine image Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much.
I'm very puzzled by the strange perspective here, Mary! The field looks vertical, with the sea on top of it!
Mary MacADNski: The field goes up then down to the sea.
Excellent shot Mary smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, John.
Hah, awesome!!! Very well seen!
Mary MacADNski: Often seen. I just have to take the time to stop.
Quite a change, Mary! Great shot.
Mary MacADNski: Feels like it outside too.
STill a great pattern in the fileds even without the strong colours.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, pattern is pattern.
Great comparison, Mary. It looks as if this field runs along side the water; how wonderful!
Mary MacADNski: It does run along the water - a beautiful spot.
They are great patterns..so different to the other..Nice one Mary.
Mary MacADNski: So different but the same.
It gives the illusion the sea is waiitng to pour over, great patterns smile
Mary MacADNski: The field rises then falls down to the sea.
A total difference Mary. Fascinating
Mary MacADNski: Kids playing with tractors, I presume.

gee... breathtakingly beautiful patterns and graphics, Ms. M.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, vz. The farmers must be having quite a time.
What a great abstract pattern, well captured.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ingrid. I saw the most fun pair of red boots the other day in the grocery store. If I'd only had a camera.
Very nice.
