Mary MacADNski: Yes, it was early and untouched.

I suppose this was inevitable Mary...
Mary MacADNski: Absolutely, it was.
It looks remote and cold, most effective composition Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Martin. It was not cold but looks that way.

What a great view! Only a couple of hours?
Mary MacADNski: Yes, it rained the rest of the day and most was off the branches by the end of the day. It has been slushy since.
Looks good. I think Johnny Cash's last recordings were great, 'Hurt' from the great 'man comes around album' is very moving. I can't understand why Bob Dylan allegedly criticised his later recordings, if only he could come up with some great work again.
Mary MacADNski: I loved those last few albums too. His voice made him sound so vulnerable. Bob shouldn't talk. He had that terrible Christmas album last year.
Very pretty indeed, but quite frankly, I can't stand the sight of snow anymore for a while in real life, so it's good it is on a pretty picture, and not in my garden!!! grin
Mary MacADNski: I would like the slush to stop.
It appears that there were no ice shoe, snow shoe, sneaker or boot impressions in the snow when you shot this, Mary. A lovely winter scene!
Mary MacADNski: No this was 7:10 in the morning and not a creature was stirring - except me.
Oh..it does look cold and wintery Mary..Lovely scene.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ron.
Indeed it does look pretty Mary and then I guess it becomes a nuisance.
Mary MacADNski: It turned to rain after that and we've had slush.
Magical!
Winter wonderland.
Mary MacADNski: It really was for that short time. Children made snow people all over the Island that day.
Snow really does look good when its just fallen, this looks lovely Mary smile
Mary MacADNski: It was indeed pretty this early in the morning.
Those trees look beautiful with the coating of snow. I know what you mean by "for a few hours".
Mary MacADNski: We had rain and melting later in the day.
It does look pretty but always outstays its' welcome.

Love that Johnny Cash song, one of my favourites
Mary MacADNski: I love that song too. That snow all turned to slush.
Not a foot print in sight! Snow at it's most beautiful!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, it was early in the morning.
Lovely scene and excellent composition, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tom. It was very pretty that morning.

I love the small building nestling under the trees. Good for shelter, but not so good if the snow freezes and the branches snap.
Mary MacADNski: On this island we have wind so the snow blows off the branches soon enough.
