Sleep Tight

One last shot of the new baby in my life.  With great sadness I had to leave this wonderful being today. I go back to my life and she begins hers.

She is so beautiful. It must have been so hard to go home today and leave her there. You should have tucked her in your suitcase.
Mary MacADNski: Her mom called and was ready to send her at 2 am that night. Said she wasn't the same baby without Grandma.

It's all a miracle isn't it Mary...
Mary MacADNski: A baby is a pretty nice way to start a human being.

Babies do know how to sleep.
Mary MacADNski: Until it's 2 am. This one sleeps all day.
Thanks for yet another 'special' image Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Martin.
This has been a wonderful personal series ... thankyou Mary
Mary MacADNski: It was my pleasure. Last week, I said - enough snow.

She is over-the-top precious, Mary. I know you will hate being away from her. How often will you get to see her?
Mary MacADNski: I won't see her till spring though Skype is a wonderful thing.

this is so precious, new life...!
Mary MacADNski: She is wonderful and perfect.
Not a care in the world..now isn't that lovely Mary.
Mary MacADNski: She only thinks of one thing - her mother's milk.
Oooooooh. I remember the feeling. Now mine is 12. Lovely shot Mary
Mary MacADNski: It felt so good to hold her. I wanted to quit my job and stay forever.
Oh this is a lovely shot Mary, good job we men don't get broody, I'm too old for new children anyway.
Mary MacADNski: I'm too old to have them but I could babysit this one anytime if only she lived closer.
So content, very special Mary smile
Mary MacADNski: She's very, very content but wakes up fully in the middle of the night.
Looks very contented!
Mary MacADNski: She certainly is there.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. She is lovely smile
Mary MacADNski: She doesn't look like the little turtle she looked like in the photo with her dad.
She's utterly adorable smile The very best to her..and you.
Mary MacADNski: I had to leave her and come back to the Island. It almost killed me.

She lovely Mary you must be so proud
Mary MacADNski: I'm proud of her parents and absolutely in love with her.
But you will always be part of her life, and she of yours. And with digital cameras, emails and attachments, Facebook and Skype you can always be in touch. She will learn that you are the Granny on the screen!!
Mary MacADNski: That is exactly it, Sheila. Skype is going to be my new best friend.
This is a great way to start the year. CONGRATULATIONS MARY
Mary MacADNski: It has been a wonderful event. Thank you very much!
She is truly a beautiful baby. You may not be seeing her in person, Mary, but as you say, with Skype it will make it easier to keep in touch.

A friend's daughter lives in New Zealand but thanks to Skype, Grandma & Grandpa talk to and see the grand kids everyday and have been able to form a very special bond. I guess it's the next best thing to being there.
Mary MacADNski: I must say that modern technology has made it easier to be a grandparent from afar. Remember when a long distance call was a huge deal?
