That gull is thinking why doesn't she throw her sandwiches in this direction?
Mary MacADNski: He sat there for ages - at least 15 minutes. I have tons of shots, from every angle. I have one in the archives from that shoot just a week or few ago. I had no food, just the camera.

Let's hope you get the inspiration you want to translate this to canvas. It would be interesting to see a photo of your finished work.
Mary MacADNski: I don't show my work here because I prefer to remain anonymous.
The Gull really finishes the image off Mary, the top would be a bit empty without it.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, it is that for you and others. For me today it was just a bunch of rocks I needed to reference..

Mary MacADNski: Just used it for some rocks, kind of.
Leave the bird out!
Mary MacADNski: Ha, ha, thhougt you might object to the bird. Think of it as I am, as rocks on the beach. That was what I was painting.
Always fascinated by the red colours on your beach.
Mary MacADNski: It is varied as to types of beaches all over the Island. I like the red rocky ones best of all.
I think our gulls should get together, the water really brings out the colour of the rock smile
Mary MacADNski: Oh rocks, I must get back to painting that one. Shouldn't be here on the web.
