It's boat Friday.  I am uploading this on Thursday while we are in the midst of a severe winter storm.  The Island and most of the maritime provinces have been shut down.  Dreams of summer boating days keep us going.

Wonderful picture, we heard about the strom again.
Hope the power stays on.
My brother and I sometimes talk about the global warming....it's never been so cold.....

Mary MacADNski: The owner of the boat I was on for this shot was at the car dealers at the same time as I yesterday. He invited me to this summer's poker run. I hope i can attend. It's a fun day.

Mary MacADNski: No, you get towed by the boat. Very nice.
Looks like a lot of summer boat fun. Yes, when the weather is bad and misery-making it good to trawl through your own summer archives.
Mary MacADNski: That is just what I needed to do last week, Sheila. It has been a long winter without winter activities but yesterday I got out into the woods on snowshoes and I am in love with winter again. It was awesome.
Wonderful photo Mary. Love the bright colours. Looks like a lot of fun !!!!
Mary MacADNski: It is an annal poker run, a good excuse for a party.

Mary MacADNski: I needed a week away from looking at snow. I'm back with it this week.
Just a few months before this can happen again Mary, looks fun.
Mary MacADNski: Today I was talking to the captain of the boat I was on this trip. I've been invited to this year's event. Hope I can make it as it is a great time.

I hope that you survive the storm. This should help you remember that summer will soon be here again. Good plan to have the kids in their own boat.
Mary MacADNski: We have another storm on the way, sadly. We've had a lot of snow this winter.
Looks like a real good family day out, hopefully you will be enjoying this type of weather soon smile
Mary MacADNski: It's a big poker run and every boat had a different make up. Our boat was all adult and we had a blast.
Love that triple seated floater! Hope you will be able to dig yourself out of the snow without too much trouble, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: We've certainly had our share this year and are expecting more on Wednesday. I certainly have been doing a lot of digging.
