Shucks, Mary...those dogs are big enough to tow the owners along if they are wearing skis.
Mary MacADNski: They are all big dogs, aren't they?

Hi Mary....we live in the country and Buddy is free to roam anywhere he likes to...but he still looks forward to his daily walk down our snow packed road without a leash and we are usually joined up by a few of his friends along the way....that way we all have our fun.... together....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: It is a good way to ensure you get some exercise and fresh air.
Such big dogs! Is it a coincidence or are the canadiens just fond of big dogs?
Br "Twice a day"
Mary MacADNski: It is just a coincidence. I see as many little dogs as big ones.
I see the humans are being taken for 'walkies'
Mary MacADNski: Yes, sometimes you wonder who is walking who.

One good thing about owning a dog is that you HAVE to go out every day!
Mary MacADNski: That's one good thing but also one bad thing. It would be awful if you were sick or injured. Overall a good idea though.

For this reason alone, I am glad I have cats.
Mary MacADNski: I'm with you there. I would be happy to take a dog for a walk but if I had to do it day after day in every kind of weather, it would not be pleasant.
Walkies...and time for a chat too Mary..It makes the world go round.
Mary MacADNski: This boardwalk is very popular with walkers, human and canine.

Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Mister. This is a popular city dog walking spot.

Mary MacADNski: It's fun to watch for a while.

Looks like a good day to go out - at least there's no blizzard, Mary. They are big dogs; handy to pull you out if you fall in to a drift!
Mary MacADNski: It was a nice day but cold. Another storm coming in a couple of days.
That's the downside of having a dogtongue
Mary MacADNski: I'm happy to have cats though I have had some wonderful dogs.
Oh dear, so you've had snow then Mary, but as Bill says, this is the downside of having a dog, although of course if you weren't prepared for this one shouldn't have one in the first place I suppose.
Mary MacADNski: Walking a dog day after day in every kind of weather, would get tiring I think. I like having cats.
And gets the humans out.. love the snow .. looks very cold.
Mary MacADNski: It was very cold that day and tonight is cold. the winter had been mild but the temps have dropped.

Walking the dogs is a very social event, don't you think, LOVE IT.
All big dogs though, they eat more than a human being.
Mary MacADNski: Walking dogs in a city park certainly is a social event. My daughter and I met there last summer and walked Baxter and lots of people stopped us to chat.
