Love that rolled up grass, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: The heads are in silos somewhere and this is just the leftover stocks. Pretty though.
Green gold. They put plastic on those rolls in Finland nowadays.
Mary MacADNski: They do for hay here but this is straw.
Oh! Oh! Is it already the summer in Canada? grin A+ VAL wink
Mary MacADNski: I wish!

Lovely evocative colours Mary
Mary MacADNski: I love the colours in the fall.
Nice Shoot
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much.

Funny Mary but it looks good enough to eat.
Mary MacADNski: Ha, ha. There are breakfast cereals that look similar. It's not food at all though. It is straw left over from the grain harvest.
Beautiful colours and composition. Reminds me of the song of Sting "Fields of Gold ".Well captured.
Mary MacADNski: I think that is the song I have today. It is sung by someone else though. Give it a listen. Click to Play: http://www.zshare.net/audio/789426850f3c18c0/

Harvest is a lovely time; a bet the farmers are glad when everything has been gathered in.
Mary MacADNski: A very good feeling no matter the crop, I'd say.
This will come round again all too soon Mary
Mary MacADNski: All the seasons are interesting. I might complain about the snow but I like certain aspects of it such as snowshoeing and skating on my pond. I have to commute and that is the worst part.
A warm and inviting image, Mary, and a perfect antidote for a cold winter's day.
Mary MacADNski: Yes you can feel the sunshine.
I enjoy pictures of your island more as each day goes by Mary, this is a great harvest image.
Mary MacADNski: It is indeed a beautiful place and I don't do it justice.
Lovely shot Mary..I bet you cant see it for snow now.
Mary MacADNski: Very deep snow this year.
What a view!
I miss summer...
Mary MacADNski: We are buried under snow so I do too!
Gorgeous Mary. A wonderful time of year
Mary MacADNski: Yes, this was late Sept. I believe.
Golden bales and the sun makes them more so... smile
Mary MacADNski: Yes, the light was nearing the golden hour.
They look like packaged sunshine smile
Mary MacADNski: Good term. Would be more accurate in hay rolls than straw rolls but colour here more accurat.. Good concept.
I bet it smells nice too.
Mary MacADNski: It is not as nice as hay season in summer. This is grain harvest in fall.
wow.... it makes me long for the summer
Mary MacADNski: We have a ton of snow so I am longing for it too.
How pretty!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Cassie. I love the name Cassie.
