The brainless creatures always win the stare down.
Mary MacADNski: Unless you open your mouth to say something then they high tail it away.
I wonder if those stares are challenging, or puzzlement at those animals walking upright, or disdain for them who can't be bothered to chew the luscious grass.
Mary MacADNski: Plain old curiosity. I love how they are so curious.

They always stare but they are beautiful.
Mary MacADNski: Thay're very curious creatures.
I don't know if it is their lovely colour or not, Mary, but Jersey cows have always been my favourite. Looks as if this one has plenty of company, too.
Mary MacADNski: This is a big beef cattle. Jerseys are a similar colour but have bony protrusions and not all that beefy bulk.

Lovely animal, or beast, as the farmers like to call them.
