Happy, no doubt, to see the sun.

Nice shot, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Chickadees are winter residents. They gather at feeders all winter and in the summer they become birds of the forest.

great close up
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Chantal.
Nice catchlight in his eye Mary
Mary MacADNski: I like how the curves of the bird and feeder match up.
An attractive little bird Mary.
Mary MacADNski: They are darling!
Lovely close up Mary
Mary MacADNski: My only real close up of one featured a stunned bird - unconscious but alive. This one I used a longer lens.
A very elegant bird that has gone very handsome in your photo.
Mary MacADNski: They are birds that come to winter feeders.
That's terrific, Mary - you must have been pretty close to get that!
Mary MacADNski: Through my kitchen window or from the deck. I can't remember.
Lovely close up portrait, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: My only real close up of one featured a stunned bird - unconscious but alive. This one I used a longer lens. It was a few years back. I had a close up of a nuthatch in the same condition another time. I prefer this live look. LOL
I wish I could get that close to the ones that come to our garden, Mary. They are so quick to fly away that I always need to use my zoom lens. This shot is so sweet.
Mary MacADNski: These are outside on my deck visible through my dirty kitchen window. Or perhaps I was on the deck. I can't remember.
This is a very beautiful bird Mary and a fantastic closeup. Looks a lot like our Ashy Tit we have over here. Very well captured.
Mary MacADNski: The europeans post photos of another tit still and they look alike. They are the same family. I think it is quite funny that you give positive comments on my bird shots when yours are so superb. You are very kind.
