They look quite unconcerned that their grass has blanched, Mary.

They actually seem to be enjoying their day in the sun, Maey! Believe it or not, we saw LOTS of snow in Norway, even in Oslo. It made up for lost time for me. smile

Heroes of the trans-Siberia march. Is it still cold and snow-covered over there?
Mary MacADNski: No more snow except in the woods. It can be frosty over night but the days are nice.

No jackets for these hardy souls Mary.
Mary MacADNski: They come with hair shirts or fur coats.
I guess they are not out in the fields at the height of winter Mary.

Looks a might chilly still, out there! Horses are a tough lot!

Mary MacADNski: The winters are long here though not extremely cold. I guess that depends on the scale you use.
I really love this picture, the lighting is just right for the mood.
