Fluffy

The world's heaviest cat weighed 46 pounds (21 kg)

before the record was discontinued due to ethical issues.

 

This is Fluffy who lolls around with my niece and her family.  The children carry him awkwardly and sometimes upside down but he remains friendly and purring through it all. He is a huge cat and one great fellow to have as a pet in a house with children.

My mother's cat is called Fluffy; he looks a big cat but his long fur believes his weight. This Fluffy is a lovely colour. I hope he does not suffer with being carried upside down!

Fluffy is a wonderful cat. We've had him for around 3 years now after adopting him from our local SPCA. They thought he was probably just over a year then, so he's just over 4 years old now. He's a big old lazy tom and loves to lay around on the back of our sofa and sleep the day away.

He's always very lovable and patient with our two girls. They're not the kind to torment a cat, but they do love to play with him, and only once or twice has he ever scratched them, but I've always known that if he does, then they most likely deserved it for one reason or another. wink

Cats tolerate kids doing things they would never allow an adult to do. Fluffy looks like a great cat...
