Really like the composition of this luscious pastoral, Mary.

I imagine that this scene looks very different this week. Some lovely colours in the trees.
Mary MacADNski: Yes. Some fresh green grass will be growing up out of the stalks from this grain.

October? That is a long way back
Mary MacADNski: I explained at the first of the week that this week was from various seasons, I'm tired and trying to catch up on some things.
That's quite a hill there by the look of it Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, lots of pretty hills.
Unbelievable colours. I love this photo !!!
Mary MacADNski: This is mid autumn when a lot of the leaves are off the trees but some still remain. The grain will be harvested any day and in a week this would look like a different place.
Beautiful Mary....i am sure that this place will you bring you back to to show us more views of the rich spring and summer colours of this landscape on your Island Walks....have a nice Sunday....
We woke up to another foot and a half of freshly fallen snow this morning!!!....petersmile

I have a feeling that I have seen those fields before, but in different times of the annual cycle and different view points as well.

This looks good for a hike.
Mary MacADNski: Not likely these same fields but similar ones. We grow a lot of grain.
the lines make this a gem!
Mary MacADNski: It's all about the lines, isn't it?
Golden and green, is this one from Autumn last year, or just a slow spring awakening?
Mary MacADNski: This is from the autumn. I've not had much time out with my camera recently.
Lovely texture, colour and detail, I like this a lot.
Mary MacADNski: Island grain fields are gorgeous from late summer to late fall.
