Worn Out Shingles

I'm still busy and haven't much time for fresh photos.  I've not shown old buildings in a while and maybe flowers will make an appearance some day or other.

I like the rough texture
Mary MacADNski: I showed another version of this wall years ago but this one really shows the texture.

Nicely decayed...
Mary MacADNski: Very much so...almost dust.
This may not be flowers Mary but it is a gem.....great texture in old old wood....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: The flowers will be sweet after this.
Nice textures here!
Mary MacADNski: Lots of old wooden structures in my files. I love them.

this needs some repairing... but photo wise I love it!!!
Mary MacADNski: The shingles aren't much good any more.
Good shot Mary, lots of texture. I wonder why we call them tiles and you call them shingles over there.
Mary MacADNski: I don't know. Strange to me also is that a shingle over there is a beach with pebbles.
A great photo Mary with great texture in the old wood. Does look if it is in need of some TLC.
Mary MacADNski: This is a sturdy building underneath it's worn coat.

c'est plus rezs jeune tout cela, mériterait un coup de vernis !
Mary MacADNski: Il a besoin d'une nouvelle couche de bardeaux en premier. Ce sont comme de la poussière.

Lovely textures to this, Mary. I don't think that they would be very weather-tight, though!
Mary MacADNski: I don't think they are providing much protection. It needs new shingles - as does my house.
Indeed, have to agree about the amazing looking texture of those worn shingles. Really bizarre having a door in your roof though. lol!
Mary MacADNski: It is for putting hay into the loft. Must hay barns have this feature. You can also throw the bales down from there. Hay barns will need be only one story buildings because of the modern large round bales.
These are well worn out Mary, but make an interesting image
Mary MacADNski: Certainly have a weathered look about them.
Nothing wrong with pictures like this Marysmile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Mister. When I can't keep up, I try to upload for several days on my day off. Just got it done....till Caturday.
