A Healthy Hoya

Some hoyas have leaf colour change if the leaves are in the sun.  Leaf colour may change but the plant is still perfectly healthy. This one is producing many blooms.

I have never seen so many blooms on a hoya, Mary...you must speak to them in the right loving voice.
Mary MacADNski: I have great luck with hoyas and they trail around the house. I have lots of music in the house. Perhaps that's the secret.

It's a very happy plant Mary
Mary MacADNski: I think you're right, even with such a tiny head.

Just like my mums,lovely
Mary MacADNski: Some are native to AU.
It looks to be doing well in the house. I find certain plants do well in just one particular spot because of their light requirements.
I am taking a picture of my Streptocarpus collection today with a view to posting.
Mary MacADNski: I have them all over the house. This is the only one in a window. I don't like that it has yellow leaves but after research found that this is normal for hoyas in windows.
the light makes the leafs transparant, nice effect
Mary MacADNski: I have some nice shots of just the transparent leaves.
You could forego the need for curtains when you have such a lovely blooming plant framing the window, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: They do serve their purpose in many ways.
Wow, neat angle, it makes this one look like a giant...triffid anyone? lol
Mary MacADNski: What the heck are triffids? Chad mentioned them too.

The Day of the Triffids springs to mind.
Mary MacADNski: What are Triffids? Are they anything like Tifflets?
That looks like a pretty determined plant, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Once they are well established, if they like their home they will repay you.
What a magnificent plant! I am not good with houseplants as I never fall into the trap of over watering by forgetting to water them at all
Mary MacADNski: I am good with these and ferns.
