Sunset Cruise

A cruise ship leaving Charlottetown harbour.  A bit of a dip in the horizon but I feel like that myself some days.

Wow.... This so orange!
Really stunning sunset.
Mary MacADNski: We often get orange sunsets like this but not always do we see a huge cruise ship passing through them.
What superb colouring, Mary. Quite compelling.
Mary MacADNski: Can you imagine sailing into this orange sunset!

The boat can cruise faster that way, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Exactly, much like a tailwind.

Mary MacADNski: I'm sure you get lots of cruise ships there too.
Wow, that sky!!! It is not every day you see that! Beautiful smile
Mary MacADNski: That's very true, Marion. You take your shot when you have a chance.

Mary MacADNski: This was from the workplace where I got the awesome sunsets all the time. I go there in the daytime now so miss those great sunsets.

Would love to be on that boat some Friday
Mary MacADNski: There are lots of cruise ships in the harbour here in the summer. Take your pick.
A difficult shot to make in that light, Mary - well done!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tom. The zoom was at it's limit and I used a window sill to steady it.

Don't tell me, you fixed a picture! Whatever, it looks striking.
Watch that downhill ride.
Mary MacADNski: It's not been touched my friend. I at least would have straightened it. It is SOOC.
A lovely black and grey silhouette, against that amazing orange sunset. WOW!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Alexandra. It was a pretty neat sight.
What a wonderful sky. A perfect background for the ship
Mary MacADNski: Yes. the grey water and orange shy contrast well.

The downhill tilt helps the ship on its way! The orange is very strong and contrasts well against the foreground.
Mary MacADNski: Much like a tailwind, eh?
absolutely amazing sky!
Mary MacADNski: Lovely and orange.
I guess this was quite some way away Mary, a fine red sky.
Mary MacADNski: It was very far away with the camera zoomed to it's limit.
Magnificent composition Mary....i think that i have seen this ship....but it has never looked so beautiful....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: The cruise ships are popular in Canadian harbours in the summer.
Holy Cow what color! Awesome Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Isn't an orange sky so pretty!
