photoblog image Egg of Daffodill

Egg of Daffodill

I have collected both vases and flowers and put them together for eons.  I only recently began to photograph them.   My rustic surroundings suit the vases I think.

Yes...the wooden rail works well as a base.
Mary MacADNski: Some of the others coming up have a bit more than the wooden base
This is beautiful Mary! Great composition, and the photo has such a soft quality to it. Nicely done!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks very much, Elizabeth.

fresh spring feeling this gives me...
Mary MacADNski: It has been a very late, cold, and wet spring. I came home from an early work day on Saturday and it wasn't raining. I went out to the garden and marveled in just that - the fresh spring beauty.
This is really lovely, Mary. I like the reflection in the egg too. Some more like this, please!
Mary MacADNski: Flowers all week, Pamela.

would be great for Easter
Mary MacADNski: It is wonderful for Easter. Daffodils are sold by the cancer society in April. This year it was around Easter. Other years I've put tulips which are readily available at that time of year from a local business.
This makes a very nice image Mary, one of your best I feel.
Mary MacADNski: I wouldn't go that far, Brian. I have better ones of the same vase.
Well you can't have vases without flowers and you are right these two go together well on some nice weathered timber
Mary MacADNski: I grow flowers only to cut them. I love them in vases.
Well this one is certainly different Mary....do you use it at Easter also....i love the reflections all aroud it showing the house and the countryside....that's great composition....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Absolutely I use this at Easter.
