Wednesday in Blue

Long and slender, this vase is great when you have long stems.

Clearly you have an eye for gorgeous vases, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I need a bigger vase cupboard or house though.

I love that vase. By the new one I meant the new square one that I got you.
Mary MacADNski: I realized that afterward. I took a shot of it yesterday then gave the flowers away to a friend who brought a bag full of lobster. Wish you were here.

Fit for the Queen's table, Mary. smile
Mary MacADNski: It is very tall and not an easy vase to situate. I'm sure the queen could find a place.
I have just bought a vase that at last will hold a bunch of flowers just right. This one looks like it is a pottery vase or is it coloured glass smile
Mary MacADNski: This is coloured glass and is very narrow . It doesn't hold any more flowers than this. It has a very thick coating of clear glass which is only visible in the spiral that circles the vase. I love it!

Very unusual vase, did you make this one Mary?
Mary MacADNski: No, but I bought it with Christmas money.
You have a wonderful collection of vases Mary and lovely flowers to go in them.

In this case I think the vase is more stunning than the flowers Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I love this vase. I purchased it with Christmas money at after-Christmas prices.
OMG, Mary, you actually have a friend who brings you a bag full of lobsters; I'm soooo envious!

You certainly picked the perfect vase to showcase these flowers. I'm also a collector of vases and this one would be a greatly prized one for sure.
Mary MacADNski: I'm about to go eat them after 12 hrs work.I picked up potato salad.

Really? You collect vases too.I love them and grow flowers only to cut them to put in vases. I bought this with Christmas money at after Christmas prices. It spoke to me.
Fresh spring flowers, what could be better to photograph? lol! You know I love flowers, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: I grow t5hem so that I can put them in vases and have over 1000 daffodils. I give arrangements to friends and places.
Fraid my daffs are long gone...The Peonies and Agapanthus have burst on the scene though!
Mary MacADNski: We had a late spring and you had an early one. My daffs are almost gone Now the tulips and dandelions are at their peak.
