This is my favourite time for grain crops, Mary...just popped through, and full of promise.
Mary MacADNski: I didn't get this at the angle where you can see the rows but that is what I see in every crop on my commute. I should get some shots.
I don't think that Ray could smoke this kind of grass Marygrin
I love this photo with all of the soft changes to the layers of colour....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Ray likes grasses like I do. Some are in flower right now, like fall planted timothy, and some are just beginning their cycle.

The ground looks so fertile, Mary...good, rich dirt?! I bet the breeze feels good.

Is that flooding in the background or just the normal level of the water?
Mary MacADNski: This is the normal height of the water. We have very pretty soil and it is fertile if you take care of it.

THese must be crops Mary
Mary MacADNski: It is grain of some kind in the middle. Could be a crop of hay or just grassy field on either side..
nice layers in the field, make nice linework
Mary MacADNski: Usually I show the rows of grain but this time it is from the side.
Love the fresh green against the red of the soil
Mary MacADNski: It is part of the charm here.

Lovely layered landscape!
Mary MacADNski: A grain crop from the side. I would usually show the rows, the patterns that way.
Almost abstract, Mary - lovely.

The vivid green of these fields could give Ireland a run for its money, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: You've lived it so I know you know.

LOL at Peter.
Mary MacADNski: Back in the saddle, Chad?
I like the feeling of several different layers here Mary, wonderful greens BTW.
Mary MacADNski: I've shown the usual rows of grain from the side. You can't see the rows but there oare those layers you night not have noticed otherwise.

Almost looks like an abstract painting with broad brush strokes of different colours.

makes a nice image
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Ayush.
