Growing the new ensemble...there's an idea!
Mary MacADNski: I could do with a few new layers.
Judging from the gorgeous colours these ducks are displaying, Mary, you must find some pretty nifty feathers around the area.

I never thought about ducks having to grow new feathers. Oh my! I always get my education here at SC. smile

Is it a family gathering or are they just hanging out with each other! They do look to be very relaxed smile
Mary MacADNski: This is in another province I visited recently so don't know these ducks but I would say it is a colony that lives here, if a gathering of ducks can be a colony. I don't know the proper term.
Still fine looking birds though.
Mary MacADNski: They will look better soon. All new, bright and shiny.
Looks like a contented group
Mary MacADNski: There were about a dozen there and they were grooming or resting.
