Love this woolly sky critter, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I love them too but there have been dark brooding ones this summer who tend to cry a lot.
He's got a great vantage point- love the sky!
Mary MacADNski: There was one on the next post too.

Just look at that dramatic background Mary
Mary MacADNski: It was nice to see one that was white and not dark grey for a change.

Fence posts do serve another essential purpose.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, they are multi use sticks.
good composition, out of the box thinking on the dividing
Mary MacADNski: There was another bird on the next post and I didn't want him in this shot. I have others with him in it.

Great sky
Mary MacADNski: Love thes big clouds when they are white!
I am all for digressing.
Mary MacADNski: Me too!
Just love it Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Janet. The sky was great; the bird only incidental.

Keeping an eye out for his next meal, he looks good against the sky smile
Mary MacADNski: It's all about the sky in this one.
Love that cloudscape!
Mary MacADNski: It is the real subject.

Very dramatic, Mary. Your low point of view really makes him stand out against that sky. Great shot.
Mary MacADNski: I had other shots of two birds on two poles but am showing just one.
I like the bird on the pole bit it's those fantastic clouds that are the highlight here for me Mary.
Mary MacADNski: They were fantastic that day.
Very nice capture Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, John. I got better compositions of this scene but they were all blurry. I don't even own a tripod and am always moving so that is a definite disadvantage for percentage of passable shots.
