My garlic doesn't curly-Q like that! this is a very pleasing photo to me- the greens are subtly different and I really like the curves!
Mary MacADNski: I must grow a different kind. Mine has always curled. They're great in flower arrangements.

Great plant abstract. Just shows you don't need a load of colours and detail to make an interesting image.
Mary MacADNski: That's certainly true. I was watching the different greens on the commute home tonight and marveling at just that.
Very well selected and photographed little detail Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I don't have many this year, sadly.

Not seen anything like this before. So does all garlic do this?
Mary MacADNski: I thought it did but some said theirs does not.
You have found some most unusual shaped plants lately Mary grin
Mary MacADNski: These are in my garden every year and the grapes from Monday are in my friend's garden every year.
Tried growing garlic this year, but they started off great guns, and then all died all of a sudden, about 3-4 cms high.
Mary MacADNski: Mine come back from scattered seed every year. I don't pick it all and just let it spread.
Almost like our Stafford Knot if you check it out.
Mary MacADNski: I've just had a look and get what you mean.
Obviously the earth moved for it!
Mary MacADNski: Ha, ha. It always does.
LOL @ Tom. I've never seen my garlic do a contortion like that Mary. What do you feed it?
Mary MacADNski: Mine always does. Maybe it is a different kind of garlic but it is like that every year.

Mary MacADNski: I think she is always having a bit of a laugh.
Very nice indeed.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much.
Being!
Mary MacADNski: Alive!
