Garden Variety Pussy Cat

Looks like Alma is a fierce beast about to rip the sunflower stalk to shreds.  In reality, she was yawning. Since she has arrived here she has loved to lie in the garden in the shade. The other cats don't lie here at all.

Well caught...she has a fine set of teeth, and well-weeded carrots for bed companions.
Mary MacADNski: The garden has been great this year. Alma spends a lot of time in it but refuses to help me weed.
I can almost hear the lion's roar from here! Spitting fierceness and anger demonstrated perfectly.

Amazing the interpretations that can be put of the photo of a yawn. So well caught Mary.

LOL. What a great shot! Yes, she looks very fierce here but I know she is just a big sortie from what you have already said.
Mary MacADNski: She's lying beside me now and in another hour she'll have another big yawn - Oh to have the life of a pampered cat!
