Mary MacADNski: Oh to find the time to walk to the beach...
Well spotted - such a simple shape and shadow but so effective.

Yes, I like this minimalistic picture very much - a snake and its shadow -really lovely!
Mary MacADNski: This jumped out at me while walking on the beach. It begged to be shown.
A very interesting picture Mary
I must say that I like the color of the sandstone and the shadow from the seaweed.
Mary MacADNski: Our stone and soil is red and people do like this unusual colour.

So simple and very effective Mary, lovely colour and shadow smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Linda. I think I should take more simple shots. They seem to be the most popular.

I love the angle the strand and its shadow create through the frame - great capture!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Thomas. It is from a walk on the beach.

You caught this tape worm on the beach? Makes a great picture.
Mary MacADNski: Playing with a macro setting and. saw this small piece of seaweed waiting to be noticed
The shadow is almost as clear & sharp as the strand of seaweed, Mary. Love how it mimics a slithering snake. Great catch!
Mary MacADNski: It was taken early afternoon and I was trying out a macro setting.

I love the flow and movement in this image
Mary MacADNski: It's quite simple, seaweed on the beach, but yes that curl does give it movement. Can't you see it rolling along the beach?

This is a terrific picture Mary: more please!
Mary MacADNski: Heck, I'd love to go to the beach more.
Simple shots like this are often more enjoyable than one with lots of "stuff" in it, this is a cracker Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I'm going to keep this in mind.

Simple but very effective, Mary. I like the shadow here.
