A great capture here Mary, and the color of the soil is wonderful.
Mary MacADNski: We have wonderful soil here - lots of worms.

Great photo.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Debb.
Wonderful Mary! I love that you caught the spread in the wing feathers!
Mary MacADNski: That's what I liked about it too.
Great capture Mary... and i love the background of the pattern from the plow across the fields....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: The potatoes had been planted.

You both have had a good catch
Mary MacADNski: Ha, that's a good way to look at it.
excellent. i love the curl at the extremity of the feathers
Mary MacADNski: I like that too. Thanks.
great timing
Mary MacADNski: I am hardly ever successful with these moving bird shots.
Nice pic' Mary, early summer seems a long time ago.
Mary MacADNski: How true, Frank. The potatoes in those hills are being harvested now.
Very good indeed Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Brian. Finally a successful moving bird shot.
Bet that fertile red soil provide the grub to keep the birdies well fed, Mary. I love how his outstretched wings show up so beautifully against the colour of the newly planted field.

He is going to enjoy dinner, good capture Mary I really like the ploughed fields too! smile
He caught the worm and you caught him. Lovely shot mary
I'm amazed you managed to focus on the bird, Ms. MM.

Now scroll down a bit till you don't see any blue of the sky, just right above where the field ends. That's your shot. The sky is too bright and competes with the bird for attention.

Wonderful picture, Ms. MM, just needs a few finishing touches, if you care about those, of course.
I love this shot Mary, great timing and composition

Looks like it has lunch! I like the detail in the bird. It works well against that soil.
