A beautiful sight.

Having spent 50 years in Australia [Land of evergreen eucalypts] and in Thailand since [Land of no Autumn], I have not actually witnessed this glorious phenomenon, Mary, so am grateful to you for displaying it so well.
Mary MacADNski: I wish you could experience a North American autumn. The views are only one aspect of the pleasures. Walking through first soft, then crunchy leaves is a joy in itself. The smell of the fallen leaves mingling with the forest floor is intoxicating too.
Lovely colors and textures, Mary! I love Autumn!
Mary MacADNski: It is pretty but knowing snow is around the corner always makes it less than a joyous season overall for me.

It looks colourful & lovely Mary
Mary MacADNski: I just need to get out into the woods. Every day off is so busy, I can't get there.
Wonderful autumn colours Mary.
Mary MacADNski: At their peak wouldn;t you say?
wow...what a palette! Very nice autumn shot Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It's awesome out there!
This is one great picture Mary. The color is superb.
Mary MacADNski: A bit of your magic would make it superb.

How wonderful I wish we had an fall with tree like that
Mary MacADNski: Yes, our forests are so, so different.
You get a lovely autumn show there Mary. Nice shot
Mary MacADNski: It's very nice but as you see we lost many leaves already with the winds of a week or so ago.
I remember being Upstate New York in 2007 and I saw this pallet of colors there as well, loved it.
Mary MacADNski: It is even prettier there as they have additional hardwood varieties.
Great colours coming, I wish a few of our native trees had more reds in the leaves smile
Mary MacADNski: Yes the reds are certainly nice

I can understand your joy, Mary; this is glorious!
Mary MacADNski: I've not been in the woods for a month and am missing it terribly. I've had a million other things to do on my days off and have not managed a good hike yet. Next Thursday is open so far.

More beautiful colours! I love it.
Mary MacADNski: It's a wonderful season.
Wonderful layers and sections, Mary. Really well composed.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Graham. I do like those layers in my landscapes.
I'm surprised you can keep your eyes on the road Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I stopped, Brian, a few times. Was almost late for where I was going.
Wonderful Mary, almost like a patchwork quilt!
Mary MacADNski: That's a term often associated with the Island.
It is always pretty on your Island Mary... but this shot is the cream of the crop....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Peter. I am assuming the mowing of small bits was to test the dryness.
great! colours are natural and beauty. Congratulation.
Mary MacADNski: I always have natural photos as I don't use any photo manipulation programs.
That's some patchwork...stunning
Mary MacADNski: Long past now.
