You've picked the perfect spot for this colourful shot, Mary. Will they harvest this grain soon?
Mary MacADNski
: I saw that they've started to harvest the late corn but don't seem to be in a hurry. Drying in silos is expensive with the price of oil.

Like a rooted rainbow, Mary.
Mary MacADNski
: You have such a way with words and images.

Those foliage colours are a treat Mary

Maybe late, Mary, but it wanted to get in on the party!
Mary MacADNski
: This corn is still supposed to be out there drying a bit longer. Running driers is expensive. Soybeans are still out too.

I wonder what sort of grain that is Mary.
Mary MacADNski
: This is dried corn. Soybeans are still in the field too.

I'm envious of your fall colours; in fact I'm "green" with envy - much like our trees

They are leaving the harvest later down your way than round where I live Mary, but I do like the colours in all those trees.

Beautiful lush autumnal colours, though I see Winter has already arrived.
Mary MacADNski
: No winter. The pale colour in the background is grain, dried corn.

Beautiful - could be tweaked to make an interesting abstract, I think
Mary MacADNski
: Adding layers of this and that and saturation would improve it too.
