Tug and Barge

The tug looks great in this one Mary, they are real workers of the sea.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, little workhorses.

The tug is a beauty compared with his companion, heh!
Mary MacADNski: They have their jobs.
I see no birds circling the barge--that's a good sign. smile
Mary MacADNski: I don't get it. What would make that happen?
I like this- you composed it very well!
Mary MacADNski: I was quite far from it out in the harbour.

Water, boats and 'floating-things' fascinate me to no end.
I can sit on a bench at the river and look for hours to the ships passing by.
Great light and love the small waves in the water.
Mary MacADNski: This was way out in the harbour - quite far away.

Like Astrid, the Dutch meisje, I'm always fascinated by boat, ships... I in paricular love the sparkling sea, sparkling in the sun! I'm not sure: is the ship on the right in restauro/ repaired?
Mary MacADNski: The tugboat pulls the barge. I think they have dredged some sand from another harbour and are bringing it into somewhere in the city.
I love seeing images of tug boats, Mary, and this one is especially good. Do you remember ever watching the old Tugboat Annie TV show?
Mary MacADNski: Yes, and the younger children have had Theodore.
There is something very purposeful about tugboats
Mary MacADNski: They don't fool around.
Tugs are the workhorses of the sea aren't they, I wonder what it is pulling.
Mary MacADNski: Probably sand from some harbour.

This is a purposeful picture; and doesn't that sea look cold!
Mary MacADNski: This was mid summer so warm but was taken from quite a distance with all of my telephoto capability. It wasn't a sunny day but warm.
Working boats are always interesting
Mary MacADNski: Always looking full of business.
