"The paranormal phenomenon of cats finding their owners

in a place where they have never been before

is known as 'psi-trailing'. Many stories tell of cats that have walked dozens of miles to find their owners."

Alma has moved.  She is only a kilometer down the road.  We all miss her though I've had the pleasure of visiting her a couple of times.

I'm glad you get to visit, though I know you miss her.
Mary MacADNski: I think she livened up the old girls a bit. They could use the young cat's company when I am working.
Really Sweet photo Mary. I am a big cat lover with two of my own smile
Mary MacADNski: I have two too, sisters who are 13.

Yes, I read some times about this phenomeon - what a sign of eternal faithfulness! Alma is a nice name for such a beautiful cat - and she likes the pumpkin- and the yellow flowers like the yellow pumpkin, too!
Mary MacADNski: She is quite happy with my son and when he travels, she will stay here.
This is a lovely picture Mary.
Mary MacADNski: More the story in this case as the photo is terrible actually. I have been embarrassed all weekend at this photo actually.

She does not look too scared by the pumpkin; perhaps she's not seen the front yet. I'm pleased that you visit her on occasions; I'm sure she enjoys it, too.

When I was in the US recently, I heard of a cat that had walked from Denver back to its previous home in New York City in three years. The cat was identified by a microchip in its neck!
Mary MacADNski: She will stay with me when my son travels which is fairly often. We will all enjoy her visits. I am amazed at these stories of animals. I witnessed it with a dog in 69 or 70 and to me it was a miracle.
This cat should never have ate the pumpkin. It obviously didn't agree with her!
Mary MacADNski: She had plenty to choose from so went to another.

It looks like she's eating it!
Mary MacADNski: Smelling or rubbing it.It is actually a very poor shot for a post on a photo blog. I am ashamed.
Cute... I have a large pumpkin on my porch but with a black metal cat... a lantern. I like the BOO too.
Mary MacADNski: I have several pumpkins and gave some away. I love growing pumpkins. It was a poor year though.
